In addition, the corporation is pleased to announce it has formalized arrangements with IoT America to deliver managed IoT services throughout US mid-west states. IoT America delivers scalable managed IoT network solutions and services along with a vetted catalog of IoT devices and solutions. This partnership will provide IoT solutions for growers and ranchers, small businesses and towns throughout rural America, utilizing Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technology in areas of limited wireless coverage.
The parties are pleased to announce the deployment of a major rural IoT/WiFi network for the State of Alabama. IoT America and NxGEN will be deploying LPWAN connectivity and provide rural WiFi networks throughout 48 counties in Alabama enabling sensor based IoT solutions to deliver the efficiencies in AgTech and Smart Towns for the citizens, farms and ranches of Alabama.
“Enabling IoT for any market segment in rural America, requires a communication backbone that enables all stakeholders to access the information and manage those sensors and devices in real time, whether it is a shut off valve on a pipeline, or closing the sprayer on an agricultural drone. Our partnership with IoT America provides a complete integrated solution that enables authorized users to manage and control their operations”stated Dan Pacholik, President & CEO of NxGen Communications.
“With the Internet being an absolute necessity for business and family life, NxGen will deliver WiFi connectivity over it’s RURBAN network”said Gary Brown, VP of Business Development, NxGen Communications.
IoT America was founded to meet the needs of Rural America, the most underserved wireless regions of the United States. Founded by seasoned industry veterans Dan Croft CEO, Pete DeNagy, President and Amy Alost, CFO, IoT America’s focus is to simplify the complexity of IoT for its customers. This includes managing all aspects of IoT enablement, offering a complete solution catalog, installation services and ongoing monitoring.
“The challenge of available arable farmland, limited water resources and sustainability coupled with pricing pressures is the reality of farming and ranching today. Yields must improve and efficiencies maximized to ensure we can feed the global population which is expected to reach 9+ billion people by 2050”said Dan Croft, IoT America CEO.
